ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)

- Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Canadian Diabetes Educator Certificate (Certified Diabetes Educator) required or willing to obtain.
- Demonstrated evidence of knowledge of current concepts of Diabetes Management.
- Demonstrated experience educating patients with diabetes

-3 - 5 years experience with Adult and/or Paediatric Education.

- Demonstrated ability to lead groups effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide information in a creative sensitive, adaptable and innovative manner, conducive to learning.
- Satisfactory attendance.
