Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Program Supervisor to oversee staff and youth in our group home for youth age 12-15. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in group homes for youth and with Social Services, as well as leadership experience. This position covers a maternity leave, and may become permanent.
Duties
Oversee daily activities of youth through supervision of staff
Be present in the home from 2pm - 10 pm Monday through Friday, how may change as the program requires, plus on call rotation
Communicate with staff, managers, MSS and schools about the progress of youth
Lead observation shifts and training for new staff
Be responsible for health and safety in the home
Develop monthly support plans for the youth, communicate with MSS worker, oversee staff communication logs and incident reports, quarterly check ins, medications, appointments, programming calendar and meal plan
Prepare reports as required by MSS
Qualifications
Previous experience in a group home and with youth is required, as well as experience with MSS. Minimum 1 year in a group home required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively
First Aid/CPR, Food Safe, ASIST and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention are required.
Class 5 minimum novice 2 license is required, an international license will not meet this requirement.

Pay: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
