Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight and packages across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy machinery when necessary.
- Verify delivery orders, check shipment contents, and ensure accuracy before dispatching or upon receipt.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and freight documentation for accountability.
- Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.




- Handle minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to keep vehicles in top condition.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently; certification in forklift operation is a plus.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the go.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks required in loading/unloading operations.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
