Mortgage Associate (Remote | Alberta & British Columbia | Commission-Based)

Job Summary

RateFair – Mortgage Brokers Who Care is growing, and we’re looking for Mortgage Associates in Alberta and British Columbia who are either licensed or actively working toward obtaining their mortgage license.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in banking, lending, financial services, or sales who want flexibility, growth, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in mortgages within a supportive, people-first brokerage.

This is a remote, commission-based role for motivated individuals who want to grow into strong, independent mortgage professionals.

Responsibilities

- Support clients through the mortgage process with clarity and care
- Assist with mortgage applications, document collection, and follow-ups
- Communicate with lenders, clients, and internal team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Learn and apply mortgage products, guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Follow up on leads and referrals
- Work independently while collaborating with the RateFair team

Qualifications

- Licensed Mortgage Associate or Broker in Alberta or British Columbia, OR
- Actively working toward obtaining a mortgage license




- Background in banking, lending, financial services, or sales preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused
- Comfortable working remotely
- Self-motivated and accountable

Compensation & Work Structure

- 100% commission-based, self-employed role
- No base salary or guaranteed income
