Job Posting: Full-Time Financial Controller / Accounting Manager

Manitoulin Chrysler is looking for a full-time Financial Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting and financial operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation is considered an asset
- Strong proficiency with accounting software
- Ability to learn and work with a DMS system
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Previous accounting experience is required
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

- Processing payroll and calculating commissions
- Processing vehicle sales and purchases
- Reconciling daily sales
- Reconciling and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Preparing management reports in a timely manner
- Assisting with payroll, HST, and other required filings
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations,



and corporate governance requirements
- Coordinating audits with auditors, financial institutions, and government bodies
- Monitoring cash flow, working capital, and inventory valuation
- Supporting overall dealership financial operations
