The Role

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to support our kitchen team. This is an essential role for someone who works efficiently, stays organized and takes pride in keeping a clean and protected workplace.

The ideal candidate is reliable, positive and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and operating efficiently
- Return clean dishes and equipment to their proper storage areas
- Maintain clean floors, sinks, work surfaces and garbage areas
- Remove garbage,



recycling and cardboard throughout the shift
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Support the kitchen team with simple prep tasks when needed
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
- Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure service runs smoothly

Requirements

- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
