Contract to Start — Opportunity to Grow Into Full-Time
Help Us Take a New Consumer AI Product From Product to Market
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Growth Marketing & Business Development Strategist to help bring an early-stage consumer AI product to market.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing role.
We are not looking for someone to inherit an established brand, manage an existing marketing calendar, or simply run paid campaigns.
We are building.
The product is evolving.
The audience is still being discovered.
The growth engine has not been written yet.
Your job is to help us find it.
About the Product
Mirea World is a consumer AI experience built around a simple idea:
What if understanding yourself felt more like playing a game than managing your health?
Powered by the Mii Model, Mirea World combines AI, personal data, behavioral science and game mechanics to create personalized experiences and micro-quests around everyday decisions.
Rather than asking users to constantly log, track and analyze themselves, we want to create an experience people actually want to return to.
Our challenge now is not simply:
How do we market an app?
It is:
How do we create a product people discover, try, talk about, return to and eventually pay for?
That's the problem you'll work on.
The Role
Think:
Part growth strategist.
Part social marketer.
Part community builder.
Part partnership builder.
Part startup operator.
You will work closely with the founder and product team to help take Mirea World from early product development into real-world adoption.
You will not just market what the product team builds.
You should bring market feedback back into what we build next.
1. Build Our Go-to-Market Strategy
Help us answer:
Who should our first users be?
What problem do they think they're solving?
What language makes them curious enough to try us?
What makes someone download?
What creates the first “aha” moment?
What makes them return tomorrow?
What makes them tell a friend?
What eventually makes them pay?
You will help develop and continuously test our:
- Target audiences
- Positioning
- Messaging
- Launch strategy
- Acquisition channels
- Activation strategy
- Community strategy
- Referral loops
- Retention hypotheses
- Monetization messaging
This is a test-and-learn environment.
We would rather run ten intelligent experiments than spend three months creating one beautiful marketing plan.
2. Own Social Growth
Social media will be one of our earliest laboratories.
You will help develop content people want to participate in — not just product advertisements.
That may include:
- TikTok
- Instagram
- YouTube
- Creator content
- Community challenges
- User stories
- Quest-based content
- Experiments and challenges people can try themselves
- Founder-led content
- Product demonstrations
- Behind-the-scenes product building
You should constantly be asking:
Can the product itself create content?
And:
Can the content make someone want to experience the product?
We want social and product to reinforce each other.
3. Build the First Community
Our earliest users should not feel like anonymous downloads.
They should feel like they are early participants in building something new.
You will help:
- Recruit early testers
- Build beta communities
- Talk directly with users
- Gather qualitative feedback
- Identify our most engaged early adopters
- Turn feedback into growth insights
- Develop ambassador or referral experiments
- Encourage user-generated content
- Identify emerging user communities
- Create reasons for people to invite others
The goal is not just an audience.
The goal is participation.
4. Business Development & Partnerships
Growth will not come only from social media.
You will actively identify organizations, communities, creators and companies that could accelerate distribution.
Potential opportunities may include:
- Creators
- Universities
- Women's communities
- Fitness and wellness communities
- Consumer brands
- Wearable ecosystems
- Health and lifestyle platforms
- AI communities
- Corporate wellness
- Events
- Research collaborations
- Strategic technology partners
Your job is not simply to create a partnership spreadsheet.
You should be comfortable:
Finding the opportunity → reaching out → pitching → following up → getting the meeting → moving the relationship forward.
5. Bring the Market Back Into the Product
This may be the most important part of the role.
Marketing should not sit downstream from product.
Especially at this stage.
If users repeatedly don't understand something, we need to know.
If one Quest suddenly becomes highly shareable, we need to understand why.
If users love one feature but ignore another, that should influence priorities.
If a certain audience unexpectedly responds strongly, we should investigate it.
You will work closely with product to turn:
Market behavior → insight → product decision → new experiment.
We are looking for product-market fit, not merely marketing efficiency.
6. Measure What Matters
Follower count alone is not success.
Neither are impressions.
You should gradually build a growth dashboard around metrics such as:
- Cost per acquired user
- Organic acquisition
- Sign-up conversion
- Activation
- Quest participation
- Retention
- Referral
- Community engagement
- Conversion to paid
- Partnership-generated users
At an early stage,
some of these numbers will be small.
That's okay.
The important thing is understanding why they move.
Who We're Looking For
You may come from:
- Growth marketing
- Consumer apps
- Social media
- Startup marketing
- Community building
- Business development
- Gaming
- Consumer health
- Creator marketing
You don't need to have done all of them.
We care more about whether you can connect them.
You are likely a strong fit if:
- You think like a startup builder
- You understand consumer social media
- You understand how online communities form
- You can create and test content yourself
- You understand basic growth funnels and analytics
- You are comfortable talking directly to users
- You can turn qualitative feedback into hypotheses
- You are comfortable with outreach and partnerships
- You use AI tools naturally
- You move quickly
- You can operate without a large team or budget
- You enjoy figuring things out before there is a playbook
Most importantly:
You are commercially curious.
You don't only ask:
“What content should we make?”
You ask:
“What will make this grow?”
How We'll Work
This role will begin as a contract position based in Vancouver, working closely with the founder and product team.
It has the opportunity to develop into a full-time core role as the company and product grow.
This is an early-stage workplace.
That means priorities may change as we learn.
You may spend one week designing a social experiment and the next talking to users, approaching creators or preparing a partnership pitch.
If you need a perfectly defined corporate lane, this probably isn't the right role.
If you enjoy turning uncertainty into experiments, it might be.
How to Apply
Please don't send us a generic cover letter.
Instead, answer the following:
1. Tell us about something you helped grow.
It can be an app, brand, social account, community or business.
What did you personally do?
What happened?
2. Imagine Mirea World launches a beta in Vancouver in 60 days.
You have a limited budget.
How would you find our first 500 genuinely engaged users?
Be specific.
3. Give us THREE social experiments you would test.
Not three posts.
Three experiments.
Tell us what hypothesis each experiment tests.
4. Identify ONE partnership you would pursue for Mirea World.
Why them?
What would they gain?
What would we gain?
How would you approach them?
5. Suppose downloads are growing but most users stop using the product after three days.
What would you investigate before spending more money on acquisition?
6. Show us something you've built, grown or marketed that you're proud of.
Tell us exactly what your contribution was.
7. Finally:
Why do you want to build something before the playbook exists?
We're not looking for someone to execute our marketing plan.
We're looking for someone to help discover it.
Pay: $56,406.04-$65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
