Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.




- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent cooking skills with experience in various cooking methods (grilling, frying, baking).
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$19.00 per hour
