What You'll Do

As an Electrical Meter Technologist/Technician, your role will be dynamic and diverse,



including but not limited to:

- Support the design and development of next-generation meters and assist in product certification applications.
- Manage product support tickets, troubleshoot communication systems, and diagnose & repair meter electronics failures.
- Assist with inventory management, product quality control, and electronics repair.
- Develop project plans, meet deadlines, and document progress for R&D; funding.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated individual with:

- Electrical/Electronic Technology Diploma or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in metering, building controls, or fire alarm systems (experience with electrical apprentice roles is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle (with mileage compensation).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Someone who takes initiative and actively works to improve systems and processes independently.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with metering systems, building controls, or fire alarm systems
- Hands-on experience with circuit board repair and soldering




- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, RS485, TCP/IP)
- Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Exposure to product testing, certification, or compliance processes
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems or IoT-based devices
- IPC soldering certification or similar

Pay: $50,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
