Job Summary

The bartender is responsible to provide an excellent guest drinking experience by creating classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. The bartender will be preparing and serving drinks, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring a high-quality experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tools, counters, and glassware
- Monitor customer behavior and respond to intoxicated guests in a professional manner
- Complete liquor requisitions, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Carry out opening/closing duties




- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Stay updated on drink trends and new recipes to create unique bar menus
- To undertake other jobs assigned by superior from time to time, such as covering duties for colleague during their break time.
- Other related responsibilities and special or ad hoc projects, as assigned.

Qualifications Required

- Must be possess proper liquor service certification according to provincial requirements. (eg. Smart Serve)
- Proven working experience as a bartender and knowledgeable about a wide range of beverages
- Passionate about customer service and able to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with positive attitude.
- Must be able to multitask and plan ahead.
- Undertake other jobs assigned by superior from time to time, such as covering duties for colleague during their break time.
- Able to obtain Transport Canada clearance for security pass (RAIC) to work at the airport.

Working Conditions

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be versatile to work weekdays/weekends and statutory holidays.




- Must be available to work flexible shifts early morning/day/evening shifts
