Registered Health Care Aide – Home Care - LOCAL to STETTLER ONLY NEED APPLY
Merging Workforce is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Registered Health Care Aides (HCAs) to provide exceptional home care services throughout the community.

Position Summary
As a Home Care Health Care Aide, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting safety, comfort, and independence. This role also includes driving clients to medical appointments, assisting with errands, grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and other community outings as outlined in the client's care plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, therapy appointments, social engagements, community programs, grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and other scheduled errands.
- Accompany clients during appointments or errands when required and provide assistance as outlined in the care plan.
- Observe, document, and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
- Complete accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans.
- Maintain client confidentiality while adhering to company policies and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Registration in good standing with the applicable Health Care Aide registry.
- Active professional liability insurance as required through your registration.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Valid automobile insurance that includes business-use coverage (business rider) permitting the transportation of clients for work-related purposes, including medical appointments, shopping, pharmacy visits, and errands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to client care.
- Must be comfortable working in clients' homes where dogs or other household pets may be present.
