Position Overview
As an LPN with Augury Healthcare, you will provide safe, compassionate, and resident-centred care while supporting healthcare teams across Alberta.
You will work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare aides, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing safe and compassionate nursing care to residents in Long-Term Care and Supportive Living environments
- Supporting activities of daily living and chronic condition management
- Following individualized resident care plans
- Administering medications and treatments according to professional standards
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in resident condition
- Responding to resident care needs and clinical situations
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Following facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Canada
- Active CLPNA registration or willingness to obtain Alberta registration
- Current BLS certification
- Experience working in Long-Term Care, Supportive Living, Continuing Care, or similar healthcare environments
- Ability and willingness to work in urban, regional, rural, and remote Alberta communities
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
