We are currently looking for full-time (one-year term): Dishwasher

Qualifications:

Able to relate to the needs of the elderly;

Capable of working alone and as part of a team in a brisk working environment;

Working knowledge of WHIMIS and able to complete yearly in-house education;

Must have a working knowledge of proper sanitation and infection control procedures as well as workplace health and safety standards.

Ability to organize and complete scheduled tasks effectively within a set time frame while maintaining quality and quantity of work.

Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting 25lbs (11kg)

Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.



Preference will be given to someone who has real experience washing dishes with a commercial dishwasher in an institutional setting.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing areas and support kitchen staff with general cleaning duties as required.

Previous experience in institutional food service preferred.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Must possess Secure Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to do so.

Secondary school diploma (Grade 12).

The successful candidate must be at least 18 and will be required to provide three (3) written references along with a satisfactory Canadian Police Information Check (CPIC) at their own expense.
