Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Flagger to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow at construction sites. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in directing vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting construction operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the construction industry, contributing to the successful completion of paving and heavy equipment projects.

Responsibilities

- Direct traffic safely around construction zones using standardized hand signals and signs
- Communicate effectively with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to prevent accidents
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment
- Assist with setting up signage, barriers, and cones to delineate work areas
- Monitor site conditions continuously and report any hazards or issues promptly
- Support heavy equipment operation when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are maintained
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient paving and construction activities

Skills





- Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate or assist with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Experience or familiarity with paving and general construction work preferred
- Excellent communication skills for transparent signaling and coordination
- Attention to detail and situational awareness to identify potential hazards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Physical stamina to stand for long durations and perform manual tasks as needed
