Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our team. This role involves creating custom cabinet designs that meet client specifications while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills, a keen eye for design, and experience with various sales techniques. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with high-end sales, renovation, and construction projects are a plus. The Cabinet Designer will work closely with clients to develop innovative solutions, showcase product demos, and assist in upselling premium options to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

Duties

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for custom cabinetry projects.
- Utilize design software such as SketchUp and MOZAIK to create detailed cabinet layouts and visualizations.
- Conduct product demos to showcase cabinet features, materials, and finishes.
- Assist in inside and outside sales efforts, including high-end sales and retail sales environments.
- Engage in negotiation and account management to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
- Manage merchandising displays and organize showroom presentations to attract potential customers.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, pricing, and material estimates.




- Upsell premium products and additional services through effective communication skills and product knowledge.
- Coordinate with renovation and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales, inside or outside sales, or customer service roles.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, MOZAIK, or similar tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively.
- Knowledge of renovation and construction processes, or related fields is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and product demos is desirable.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and estimating project costs.
