Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience within our wellness clinic. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating appointments, billing insurance, answering phone calls and ensuring the cleanliness of the clinic.

Duties

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details, to maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation prior to their appointments.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate seamless patient care and follow-up on treatment plans.




- Maintain a clean and organized office environment while adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.

Requirements

- Previous experience in an office setting, preferably within a chiropractic, physiotherapy, dental or medical office environment is highly desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with Jane booking platform is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration or related fields are a plus.
