Our client in Waterloo is looking for MIG/TIG Welders to join their team in a full time role with potential for permanent!
As the in-house welder, you will weld metal parts together on a production basis.(sometimes using previously set-up arc equipment). You MUST have experience in both MIG and TIG welding as well as being able to use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentation, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Job Description:
- Operate welding equipment
- Align parts to ensure proper assembly
- Check welding fixtures to ensure they are operating safely
- Measure completed parts to ensure dimensions are correct and meet quality standards
- Visually inspect parts to look for any abnormalities
Requirements:
- High School or Equivalent
- Welding tickets are an asset (MIG and TIG)
- Computer skills
- Knowledge on use of specialty tools
- Hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to embrace & exhibit People First culture
- Have a growth mindset and drive for continuous improvement
