The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the hotel operates safely, efficiently, and reliably every day.

- Plan, organize, and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance department in accordance with the operational requirements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and building systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.
- Coordinate maintenance work to minimize disruption to guests and other departments
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Boilers and hot water systems
- Fire alarm and life safety systems
- Elevators (through certified contractors)
- Kitchen and laundry equipment




- Swimming pool and spa equipment (if applicable)
- Coordinate inspections and servicing by external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, hotel policies.
- Maintain compliance with fire, building, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) initiatives where applicable.
- Ensure emergency procedures and equipment are maintained and operational.
- Support a protected and respectful workplace in accordance with labour relations standards and anti-harassment policies.

- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a hotel or commercial facility.

Pay: $19.17-$37.76 per hour
