Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well established provider of commercial and industrial equipment service solutions supporting multi residential, hospitality, municipal, and institutional facilities throughout British Columbia.

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to service and repair commercial laundry equipment, industrial washers, dryers, and related equipment.

This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working independently, and traveling to customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment. If you have experience with industrial equipment repair, appliance service, HVAC, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, or field service, your skills may transfer well into this opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical support for commercial laundry and industrial equipment at customer locations throughout Kelowna and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include:

- Diagnosing and repairing commercial washers, dryers, and industrial equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems
- Performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Reading wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Identifying equipment failures and recommending repair solutions
- Completing service calls efficiently while maintaining strong customer relationships




- Managing parts inventory and maintaining organized service vehicle stock
- Using mobile technology to document service calls, reports, and repairs
- Representing the company professionally while working directly with customers

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience servicing, repairing, installing, or maintaining mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, motors, controls, pumps, belts, bearings, or similar components
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and digital service systems
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment components up to 75 lbs as required
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills

A Class B Gas Fitter certification or Gas Appliance Service Technician certification in good standing with Technical Safety BC is considered an asset.
