Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake is looking for an experienced Dinner Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of qualified cooking experience, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen. The ideal candidate is hard-working, reliable, committed, and willing to learn and grow.

The Dinner Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and executing dinner service while maintaining quality, consistency, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and established standards
- Execute dinner service efficiently and consistently
- Maintain quality, portioning, and presentation of all dishes
- Manage orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station
- Complete daily prep as required for dinner service
- Keep the workstation clean and organized throughout service
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Assist other stations and team members when needed
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude during busy service

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience
- Restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred




- Strong cooking and food-preparation skills
- Dinner service experience is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- Able to stay calm and organized during busy service
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn and improve
- Good English communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification required
