What You Bring to the Table:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, elicitation, modeling, and verification, preferably within an agile setting
- Strong understanding of finance processes within the retail or distribution industries, including R2R, P2P, ITC, and general accounting
- Experience with financial systems like Infinium or Workday Financials (preferred)
- Proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Skilled in creating detailed documentation such as user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Proficient in navigating large enterprise systems and familiar with APIs, IDS, and software procurement strategies
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in distribution or wholesale trade environments
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Value Stream Mapping, or process improvement techniques
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and project management software such as Smartsheet or PlanView





Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- A strong grasp of business principles and technical disciplines involved in large-scale financial systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and elicit detailed business requirements
- Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to ensure clear communication of requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
- Prepare requirement, design, and costing documentation for projects such as tax changes, migration to new accounting software, contract management tools, and ERP strategies
- Assess current system capabilities and prioritize work that delivers the most value
- Lead discussions with business partners and technical teams to align on project scope and deliverables
- Support Agile practices by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Perform testing and validation to ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for continuous process improvement
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and assist in end-to-end project execution
- Uphold safety standards and report hazards promptly

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work remotely across Canada within EST, CST, or MST time zones and occasionally in other time zones to support offshore team.
