Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Apparel Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail sales skills and gain experience in merchandising, customer service, and store operations. The Apparel Clerk plays a vital role in greeting guests to our store and ensuring a positive shopping experience which supports the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with selecting apparel and riding gear that is tailored to their riding style
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are properly stocked
- Operate cash registers and handle cashiering duties accurately
- Perform merchandising tasks including labeling, pricing, folding, and arranging clothing items
- Keep the store clean and tidy, dusting regularly, sweeping and mopping as required. Tidying fitting rooms and common areas.
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization




- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and store needs
- Assist with maintenance tasks to ensure the store environment is safe and welcoming

Experience

- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all duties
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandise and maintain store orderliness
- Ability to perform cleaning duties as part of daily store maintenance
- Valuable communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers effectively
- A self-starter to keep the store organized and clean

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
