Job Summary

Overall responsibility for the productive handling of the warehouse inventory including audits, inventory planning, receiving, cycle counts, returns and destructions, compliance of quality standards, environmental, health and safety and legislative regulations.

Background/Qualifications

- Post secondary education and/or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience
- Must show a solid interest in warehouse inventory
- Ability to operate pump trucks and walkies as required
- Excellent organization, multi-task skills and strong time management skills
- Attention to detail is essential and must have good problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge in computer-based skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with an aptitude to learn new software
- Must be competent and knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Key Responsibilities

1) Overall Inventory management of material within the warehouse, coordinating material flow to support inbound/outbound logistics.

2) Organize and carry out all inventory audits of Client and Marco owned inventory to the completion of adjustments, reconciling variances and providing justification reports while ensuring alignment with logistics documentation and shipment records

3) Maintain performance records of location and Inventory accuracy, generating logistics and inventory reports that support production planning and supply chain visibility

4)



Maintain Inventory Control support for departmental workload to complete cycle counts, transfers, misplaced stock investigations, adjustments, destructions, damages, warehouse movement, manual month end counts. This includes entering accurate data in the ERP systems to maintain real time visibility of shipments, receipts and inventory movement.

5) Check all the incoming deliveries and report the damages or shortages to the receiving department, coordinating with carriers, warehouse staff and supplies to ensure proper handling, documentation and timely resolution

6) Follow up on damaged goods, trace origin, and determine preventative measures, coordinating corrective actions with transportation partners and warehouse teams

7) Document orders, materials and any product movements, preparing and verifying logistics documentation such as receiving reports and delivery confirmations

8) Monitor warehouse space utilization and plan accordingly coordinating storage layouts, material flow and loading/unloading schedules to optimize logistics efficiency

9) Conduct monthly and seasonal warehouse inspections ensuring compliance with safety standards, warehouse handling procedures and occupational health and safety regulations

10) Creation and/or updates of Standard Operating Procedures documents related to warehouse operations, logistics workflows and inventory control processes

11) Actively participate as a member of the JHSC (Joint Health and Safety Committee) contributing to hazard identification, safety audits and compliance with workplace safety legislation.

12) Other duties as required/assigned

Pay: $18.00 per hour
