Hours: 30–40 hours/week

Sun Peaks Freestyle Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Freestyle Ski

Coach to deliver high-quality training for athletes ranging from grassroots to

competitive levels. The coach will support athlete development in a safe, positive, and

athlete-centered environment.

Responsibilities

● Plan and deliver freestyle ski training sessions.

● Coach athletes in terrain park, jumps, rails, slopestyle, and all-mountain skiing

● Provide technical feedback and support athlete progression.

● Supervise athletes during training, competitions, camps, and travel.

● Promote athlete safety and ensure compliance with Safe Sport policies.

● Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and club staff.

● Attend coach meetings, competitions, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

● Strong freestyle skiing skills and coaching experience.





● Experience working with youth athletes.

● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

● Valid First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.

● Girlstylerz Experience is considered an asset.

● Criminal Record Check suitable for working with youth.

Preferred Qualifications

● Freestyle Canada or NCCP coaching certification.

● Air 1–4 certification.

● Competition coaching experience.

● Trampoline and dryland coaching experience.

● Safe Sport and Making Head Way certifications.

Pay: $150.00-$275.00 per day
