Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our convenience store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the station, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Bilingual skills and strong communication abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail sales skills, enhance customer service experience, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales transactions, and receipts
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
- Perform basic merchandising tasks to ensure store displays are tidy and appealing
- Conduct product demos when necessary to promote new or featured items
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store, and surrounding premises
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including balancing cash register at shift end




- Manage phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette
- Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties
- Friendly attitude with strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
