Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, or desserts, according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and ovens, ensuring safety and cleanliness guidelines are followed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies, ingredients, and utensils as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms by regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, tables, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, including coordinating food preparation and delivery.




- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to address customer inquiries and make recommendations.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of food products.
- Uphold company standards for uniform and personal appearance, reflecting a professional and well-groomed image.
- Attend and actively participate in training sessions and meetings as required.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus; serving or cashiering experience is especially valuable.
