InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Skilled Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.

Our client, a leading electronic manufacturing firm, that builds and tests advanced communications and power-electronics equipment used in satellite, defense, scientific, and medical industries. They are looking to hire an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

- Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and completed products according to specifications.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining labor efficiency standards.
- Perform mechanical assembly using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Route, connect, and secure wires, cables, and electrical connectors.
- Install and secure hardware, including screws, brackets, spacers, and various fasteners.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Accurately record production information and complete all required documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations in accordance with 5S practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Work safely in a manufacturing/ production environment.
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow established ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), workplace safety, and operating procedures.

Qualifications:





- High School graduate or equivalent
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing.
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification, with knowledge of ISO standards.
- Experience with soldering and cable assembly is considered an asset.
- Ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25–30 lbs as needed.
- Good visual acuity for detailed and precision assembly work.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements requiring fine motor skills.
