We have a new job vacancy for a swine technician on family owned hog farm Manitoba
We are looking for a Swine tech who is flexible and self motivated.
The ideal candidate will have self-motivation and drive, and a desire to achieve goals.
Primary responsibilities will involve working in the breeding and farrowing departments.
Maintenance skills and general pig experience would be a huge asset.
Training will be provided if you have none.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Experience with farm machinery and equipment maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills in a farm setting
- Familiarity with swine care and management practices
