Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Agricultural Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, including but not limited to Farm machinery, Commercial Vehicles, Trailers. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machinery is functioning optimally to meet operational demands.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to Farm machinery, Commercial vehicles, Trailers.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to repair and fabricate parts as necessary.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they lead to failures.
- Operate heavy machinery and forklifts as needed for testing and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.




- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed on equipment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, welding techniques, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical systems related to heavy machinery.
- Experience working with Agricultural products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of farm machinery maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
