Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Transmission Engineer in St. John’s, NL.

Responsibilities

· Required to complete various technical engineering analysis of recent or existing Transmission Line Infrastructure using PLS CADD as required.

· Strong experience and a sound understanding of this software and its utilization for Transmission Line Design are preferred.

· Required to prepare budgets estimates, work orders, material and equipment orders and contract documents.





· Work will also include evaluation and recommendation for contract awards and performance of construction management duties for assigned projects including safety and environmental coordination.

· Candidate will review and support the development of capital budget application, while coordinating with a multi discipline team to perform estimates and develop the technical justification for proposed work.

Requirements

· Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Electrical) with a minimum of 5 years experience, P. Eng

· Member in good standing or eligible for Professional Engineer status with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL).

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the utility industry.

· Experience in the use of PLS Cadd Software Suite including PLS Cadd & PLS Tower.

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
