Book Dumpling Tutors, founded and run by a high school teacher, is a personalized tutoring company focused on matching students with the right tutor based on how they learn best.

We’re a small, thoughtful tutoring company that puts a lot of care into matching the right tutor with each student. We’re not an assembly‑line tutoring service and we care about getting the fit right.

What you’ll actually do

- Teach 1:1 in students’ homes (mostly elementary, middle school, high school, and CEGEP)
- Explain concepts clearly and check for understanding
- Share quick updates with parents about progress

- You’re reliable, responsible, don’t ghost, and live close enough to get to Westmount / NDG / CSL / Hampstead

How the process works

Selected applicants will move through a three‑step process and, should you pass each step, you’ll join our in‑person tutor team serving Westmount, NDG, CSL, Hampstead, and Montreal West:

- Step 1: Short phone interview (5–10 minutes)
- Step 2: Sample lesson (10–15 minutes), where you explain one concept in 3–5 minutes
- Step 3: Matching with students in your subjects and area
