Guitar & Drum Instructor

Arcadia Academy of Music – Brampton North is looking for a passionate, reliable, and energetic Guitar & Drum Instructor to join our growing team!

We are seeking an instructor who is confident teaching both guitar and drums to students of all ages and skill levels. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys inspiring students, creating a positive learning environment, and helping musicians achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

- Teach private one-on-one lessons in both Guitar and Drums.
- Instruct students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop engaging and individualized lesson plans based on each student's goals.
- Prepare students for Arcadia examinations, recitals, performances, festivals, and Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations when applicable.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Arrive on time and maintain a consistent teaching schedule.
- Follow Arcadia Academy of Music's curriculum and teaching standards.

Requirements

- Must be able to teach BOTH Guitar and Drums.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.




- Strong performance and musicianship skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and passionate about music education.
- Ability to teach children, teens, and adults.
- RCM certification or post-secondary music education is considered an asset but is not required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
