Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthetic Recovery Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care during the immediate post-operative period, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and recovery. This role requires a compassionate skilled with strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Experience with Epic and Cerner electronic health records systems is preferred, along with a background in acute care settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.

Experience

- Proven hospital experience in acute care/surgical unit or PACU settings preferred
- Strong background in pain management, medication administration, and patient care techniques
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, seniors,



and individuals requiring dementia or home care
- Knowledge of nursing practices related to assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care environments is beneficial
- Previous use of electronic health records systems like Epic or Cerner is highly desirable

Requirement:

> Must have BC license

> Active BLS/CPR Certification, ACLS

> Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not there)
> Vulnerable Sector Check (active within the last 6 months)
