We are an Ottawa East glass company specializing in residential and commercial glass installations. We are seeking an experienced Glazing Technician to work as a lead installer with an open mind and self-motivated qualities.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The LEAD TECHNICIAN is an installer with a high level of knowledge and quality workmanship. The LEAD TECHNICIAN is responsible for upholding MGreer Glass Solutions Inc. high standards of work and service on all projects.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Remain knowledgeable in installation techniques for all projects, residential and commercial

o Participate in education and training opportunities as available, to increase job experience and knowledge

o Complete installations/ service requirements/ cuttings and preparations at a level that is acceptable to management

o Provide support and direction on projects as required

o Report any and all issues, deficiencies, damages, errors, etc. as they are discovered and responsible for documenting of daily activities





o Work with the Administrative team to improve productivity

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

o Previous Glazing/ Installation Experience

o Excellent communication, organization, punctual, time management, and problem-solving skills

o Demonstrates an ability to work both effectively as a member of a team and independently

o Ability to use provided documents and tools including heavy lifting of job materials

o Adapt to changes in duties to meet organizational requirements

Any of the following would be considered an asset:

Previous Glazing/Installation Experience, Self-motivated initiatives

Valid " Working at Heights " Certification (and the ability to work at heights when required)

Bilingual

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
