Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. This role requires a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to deliver exceptional food service to our guests. The Breakfast Cook plays a vital role in ensuring that breakfast offerings are prepared efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred, especially with meal preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong understanding of serving, food preparation, and cooking methods specific to breakfast dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
