Position Overview

Hawkesbury General Hospital is looking for a Physiotherapist whose versatility and ability to prioritize are matched only by their exemplary customer approach and empathy.

CHALLENGES AWAITING YOU
Mostly outpatient but the physiotherapist may rotate to cover inpatient physiotherapy services.

The role primarily involves:

- Evaluate the clients’ needs.
- Identify the priorities, prepare and apply treatment plans.
- Work in cooperation with the members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Offer group sessions.

TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION until August 2027 approximately

including weekends and the possibility of evenings.

Criminal Check

As a pre-condition of employment:

- All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.

What we are looking for

- Masters of physiotherapy or equivalent education
- Certificate of Registration of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Clinical experience of two years and more would be considered an asset.
- Experience in working in a variety of clinical settings i.e.: inpatient rehabilitation, ICU, ER, acute care and outpatient clinic with a variety of patients who have a wide range of conditions, including neurological, neuro-musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory.
- Possess knowledge of both official languages.
