Our local Windsor client is looking for a Sanitation/Production Operator.

Responsibilities and Qualifications of Sanitation/Production Operator:

- Clean and sanitize production equipment, process rooms, and ancillary areas according to the master sanitation schedule and assigned SSOPs.

- Perform clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) tasks, including equipment disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly as directed.

· Clean floors, drains, walls, and overhead surfaces, and remove waste and recycling to designated areas

· Clean and sanitize coolers, fridges, and freezers, including shelving, drip pans, door seals, and floor surfaces

· Clean and restock washrooms and lunchrooms, including soap, sanitizer, and paper products.

· Mix and apply sanitation chemicals at specified concentrations, verifying with test strips or titration as instructed.

· Complete all required cheese packaging on the production side, including portioning, weighing, wrapping, sealing, labelling, and date coding of finished product

· Operate and change over packaging equipment, and verify product weights, labels, and code dates for accuracy before product moves to storage.

· Assemble cases, palletize finished product,



and move it to the correct cooler or freezer storage location

· Complete sanitation logs and packaging documentation accurately and on time.

· Present equipment and areas for pre-operational inspection by the Sanitation Lead and correct any deficiencies identified.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Food Handler Certification required or to be obtained upon hire.

· HACCP awareness training an asset.

· Prior experience in food manufacturing, dairy, sanitation, or a production workplace is preferred.

· Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions reliably and consistently

· Ability to read chemical labels and follow dilution and safety instructions accurately.

· Physical capability to sustain demanding work in cold, wet, and chemically active conditions.

Compensation & Hours of Sanitation/Production Operator:

· Monday to Friday 4pm-12:30am

· $20-$22/hour

Pay: $17.60 per hour

- Sanitation: 2 years (required)
