We are an established specialty service and retail business in the western Greater Toronto Area seeking a talented local content creator for an ongoing part-time Instagram position.

Our business produces highly visual transformations, detailed craftsmanship and premium product content. We already have an established social media presence and want to improve the quality, consistency and reach of our Instagram content.

This is a confidential posting. The company identity, social media account and exact work location will be shared only with shortlisted candidates.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a part-time hybrid contract. Filming must be completed on-site in Oakville, while editing and content preparation can be completed remotely.

The selected creator will normally attend approximately two planned filming sessions per month. The schedule will be arranged in advance.

This is primarily a hands-on content-production position. It does not initially include daily DM management, paid advertising, influencer management or full-time community management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with the business owner, you will:

- Develop a practical monthly Instagram content plan
- Attend approximately two on-site filming sessions per month
- Capture craftsmanship, products and before-and-after transformations
- Produce approximately 8–12 polished Instagram Reels monthly
- Create approximately four Instagram carousels monthly
- Repurpose filmed material into Instagram Story content
- Write engaging hooks, captions and calls to action
- Create Reel covers and simple branded graphics
- Schedule approved content
- Follow relevant Instagram formats and trends




- Provide a concise monthly performance report
- Organize and hand over all raw footage and editable project files

The precise number of Reels will depend on their complexity, the available footage and the agreed monthly production plan.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate:

- Lives within practical travelling distance of Oakville
- Has a strong portfolio of Instagram Reels, TikTok videos or similar vertical content
- Can independently film and edit professional short-form videos
- Understands hooks, pacing, storytelling, subtitles, covers and calls to action
- Can make craftsmanship and transformation footage visually compelling
- Is comfortable using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar tools
- Has suitable filming, lighting and audio equipment
- Writes clear and natural English captions
- Communicates reliably and meets agreed deadlines
- Can follow brand guidelines while contributing original ideas
- Can accept feedback and complete reasonable revisions

Experience creating content for retail, fashion, beauty, luxury products, professional services, automotive detailing, restoration or another visually focused business would be valuable.

A specific degree is not required. Portfolio quality, creativity,



reliability and production ability are more key.

COMPENSATION AND CONTRACT

Compensation is CAD $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio quality and production ability.

The position is expected to require approximately 10–12 hours per week, although hours may vary depending on the filming schedule and complexity of the content. Any hours beyond the agreed allocation must be approved in advance.

We will begin with a three-month contract, with the possibility of continuing on an ongoing basis.

Finalists may be offered a paid on-site test assignment. The scope, estimated hours and compensation will be agreed upon in advance. We do not request unpaid sample work.
