Fabric Mender

The Quality Control Sewing Operator carries out the inspection and repair tasks required by the inspection team. He or she ensures that products classified as seconds are inspected and repaired.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Inspection and repair of mattress covers
- Be able to work standing up.
- Perform routine quality checks, including style, size, tissue and immediately report discrepancies to supervisor if results do not conform to requested parameters.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Able to work in other areas of the Quality and Sampling sections.
- Able to communicate in both English and French
- Train and guide sewing operators
- Able to read model sketches
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
