Equation Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Pallet Sorting Machine Operator for one of our valued clients in Calgary. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment and take pride in maintaining quality and productivity standards.

- Shifts: 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: $20.00/ hr

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the Smetco pallet sorting machine to inspect and sort pallets.
- Direct pallets to appropriate destination stackers using automated indexers.
- Operate the machine control station, including various buttons and switches controlling different areas of the system.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Accurately record pallet counts and grades in the company tracking system.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors and leadership.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience operating machinery in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Experience operating a Smetco machine is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand pallet quality standards and consistently meet quality expectations.




- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move pallets weighing up to 85 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a facility exposed to seasonal temperature changes.
- Exposure to dust, loud noise (hearing protection provided), moving conveyors, heavy equipment, and forklift traffic.
- Strong visual attention to detail for pallet inspection and grading.
