Job Description

Aluminum Window & Door company looking for a full time Service Technician for on-site Service Calls at commercial and industrial buildings.

The perfect candidate:

· Maintains a thorough knowledge of all products, install techniques and construction basics in order to repair products in the field

· Has good mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand and work with power tools

· Is capable of lifting, moving, and carrying products

· Is able to physically climb and work off of ladders and operate zoom booms and scissor lifts

· Understands Curtainwall, Flushline Systems, Window Systems, PC350 Systems and ½” Structural Glass Systems

· Must be familiar with installing and replacing windows, taking measurements

· Can install and repair aluminum and glass doors, and any other necessary adjustments or replacing parts and pieces

Requirements:





· Job site cleanup and all necessary paperwork

· Ability to work in all environments/climates

· Must be able to read a measuring tape

· Need to be able to work as part of a team

· Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

· Read and interpret maps, drawings and specifications

· Training on site - be versatile to take direction

· Good communication skills as there will be interaction with Office Superiors & Site Supervisors

· A valid driver's license

· Minimum 5 years’ experience and knowledge in window and door industry

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
