Full-Time, ECE September 1, 2026 Group Childcare, 3 – 5 Yrs

The Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy (AZIA) is an independent Junior Kindergarten–Grade 7 school inspired by the doctrines and values of the Islamic faith, offering a broad and balanced program aligned with BC's redesigned curriculum. QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid ECE Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate




- 2 recent references
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Great English communication skills
- Good work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to follow the school's philosophy and regulations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain effective and cooperative teamwork and communication
- Provide a warm, caring, responsive, safe environment that meets the needs of all children
- Guide and care in a positive and compassionate way
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally and academically appropriate activities to meet the individual and group needs of children in our program

- Be flexible, creative, and hardworking
- Strong interpersonal skills, both in working with children and communicating with parents
