- Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients
- Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
Experience
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience in medical terminology, acute care, and pediatrics is highly preferred
- Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and equipment used in occupational therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
