Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties

- Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in food presentation
- Cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards, maintaining proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks




- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Solid knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and presentation standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: $18.20 per hour
