Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the overall kitchen operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a rapid-paced food service environment. The position is essential in maintaining efficient kitchen workflow and delivering quality meals to our customers.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Serve food to customers or assist in serving meals in a timely and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Help with meal assembly and plating as needed




- Follow proper food safety protocols during all stages of food handling and preparation
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels

Skills

- Experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen environment

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
