Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across Canada and the USA, adhering to all transportation laws and regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed to ensure cargo integrity.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain optimal safety and performance standards.
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,
and border officials to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor mechanical issues during routes.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and cross-border transportation regulations.
- Experience with automotive repair or troubleshooting minor vehicle issues is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
