About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team and help keep our guest rooms and hotel spaces safe, comfortable, and in great working condition.

This is a hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys fixing things, figuring out how things work, and taking pride in getting small jobs done properly. You don’t need to be an expert — we’re looking for someone with basic handyman knowledge, a curious mindset, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

- Perform daily light repairs and maintenance in guest rooms and hotel areas
- Respond to basic maintenance requests from the front desk and hotel team
- Complete minor repairs such as: Fixing loose handles, hinges, and fixtures, Touch-ups and basic painting, Replacing light bulbs and batteries, Minor plumbing repairs and adjustments, Fixing doors, drawers, furniture, and other room fixtures, Basic drywall and wall repairs, Addressing small electrical or mechanical issues within your level of training
- Inspect guest rooms and identify items that need attention
- Help prepare rooms for guests by ensuring everything is working properly
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment organized
- Escalate larger or specialized repairs when they are beyond your skill level




- Assist senior maintenance team members with larger projects when needed
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when working around guests

What We’re Looking For

- Some basic handyman, maintenance, construction, or repair experience is an asset — but not required
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Naturally curious and enjoys figuring out how things work
- Practical, hands-on problem solver
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to work independently once given a task
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in guest rooms and around hotel guests
- Able to recognize when a repair is beyond your abilities and ask for help
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform hands-on work throughout the day

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

You don’t need to know how to fix everything on day one. We’re looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, dependable, and eager to learn. Training and guidance will be provided, and there will be opportunities to develop your maintenance skills over time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
