Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure setting through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. This role is essential in protecting company assets and ensuring a safe atmosphere for all.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior using surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor surveillance systems continuously to detect potential security threats or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols.




- Conduct access control checks at entry points to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Robust knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Ability to recognize loss prevention opportunities and respond appropriately.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required screening processes.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if needed.

Pay: $19.00-$27.20 per hour
