JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidates must have hands on experience and the ability to complete repairs associated to facility maintenance. This is a field position where candidates are required to travel between locations and complete various handy man repairs. Must be able to work independently and take initiative. Clear, concise communication with clients on location is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have hands on experience and a broad knowledge of all aspects of commercial construction.

- Valid drivers license, drivers abstract and proof of insurance is required
- English Read/Write (required)
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Excellent time management ability
- Loading and unloading construction materials
- Operating manual and powered hand tools
- Perform facilities maintenance, repairs and improvements
- Perform routine landscaping




- Paint and drywall repairs
- Carpentry experience
- Repair equipment and appliances
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major and minor repairs
- Pull and maneuver trailer an asset
- Ensure safe work practices are being met
- Occasional cleaning and garbage pick up

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
