This is part time - Casual position - Days
We are seeking abcompassionate individual to join our team as PSW/ Home Care Aides. As such, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within the retirement home.
While I appreciate everyones interest. We are only accepting resumes from the general local area. You must physically be at the bare minimum living in Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Bathing
- Housekeeping
-Laundry
- Monitor residents. Ensuring their safety and needs are met through out your shift.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication administration as per the care plan
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe setting as scheduled.
- Report any changes in the client's condition to other staff as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in home care, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in caregiving or completion of a relevant training program is desirable
A current police record check with vulnerable sector is required.

Although this position is currently at fixed hours of 2 days per week for 6.5hrs each. There is room for growth and shift coverage.
